Multani mitti is the Indian name for Fuller’s Earth - any clay material that has the ability to decolorize oil.

Benefits of Multani Mitti
Controls Oil Production
Because of its absorbent properties, fuller's earth is able to lift excess oils clean the pores from impurities, without drying the skin. In fact it keeps the moisture intact.
Mix a tablespoon of fuller's earth with 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric powder and 2 tablespoons of water.
Apply on the skin and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse off, pat dry and apply moisturizer.
You can use this pack once a week. The 2 ingredients combined will regulate the production of sebum and controls oiliness.
Improves Skin Tone
The clay is known to be one of the best remedies for tanning. Evens out skin tone and helps lighten blemishes and dark spots.
Mix multani mitti with a tablespoon of tomato juice and same quantity of lemon juice.
Apply to the skin and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Apply moisturizer.
