What is Pink Clay?
Pink Clay is a very mild combination of Red and White Clays.
The clay is a light to medium pink shade, which comes from a naturally occurring iron oxide.
In some projects, it can take on a deep red color or an orange hue.
French Pink Clay is a combination of red and white clays. It is very mild and suitable for all skin types.
If you need a face mask to remove the excess oils from your face, pink clay might not be what you are looking for.
Green clay will do great in this case, as it has amazing absorbent and detoxifying properties.
The pink clay face mask I am sharing today can help your skin replenish, retain moisture and look clearer and more vibrant.
Pink Clay Benefits

DIY Pink Clay Face Mask Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tbsp Pink Clay
1/4 tbsp L. Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
1/2 tbsp Aloe Vera Gel
1/2 tbsp Rose Water
3 drops Rose Essential Oil
Note: I chose rose oil because it fits perfectly the 'pink theme'. You can use whatever oils you prefer (suitable for your skin).
How To Prepare and Use It?
1. Mix the ingredients in a small clean bowl.
2. Make sure there is no lump in the paste. If too thick, adjust the amount of aloe vera gel and rose water.
3. Clean your face.
4. Apply the pink clay face mask with fingers or a facial brush.
5. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and rinse with cool water. Could be different for you. Leave it until you feel it tightening and drying.
6. Rinse with cool water and pat dry the skin and finish with toner moisturizer.
Final Thoughts
After removing this mask, your skin will feel hot and appear red. This is because of the clay which has increased the blood flow to your face. So prepare yourself for baby-smooth skin.
